Scott Jerome is currently racing with Bemsee
in the MZ 250 class. The season consists of 20 hard fought races
across the UK from Brands Hatch to Cadwell Park even one in France.
Scott says"As this is my first season I entered the novice class
and with the help of sponsorship from Designfreak I was ready
to go. It's been a tough first year with several crashes, but
I'm currently lying 8th in the novice championship". Scott's main
aim this year was to gain a single full championship point, that
would mean finishing in the top 15 out of an average grid of 35+
riders. All was achieved at Brands Hatch in May in wet conditions.
Scott continues "Hopefully soon I will have my own dedicated website
so that anyone interested in racing in the MZ class can get in
touch."
Here are the results of Scott's first
season
Finished 6th in the Novice championship (20+
Novices)
Finished 27th in the overall Bemsee Championship (out of 50+ riders)
Best Race finishes were at Brands Hatch at
the end of August over the weekend Scott got 13th, 11th, 9th &
8th out of a field of an average 30 starters.
A note from Scott Jerome
Big thanks to everyone who helped out this year,
especially Jon with the updates on his website and continued support,
receiving help from outside sponsors is a much needed part of
the whole racing experience.
I will be back next year starting in March, hopefully with continued
support from Design Freak. Next year I plan to improve on my finishes
of this year and I am aiming to finish in the top 10 of the Bemsee
Championship. If anybody would like to know more about MZ racing
then feel free to browse through our website www.bmzrc.org.uk
for more information.
See you next year
Scott
